NotiAI is an offline-first AI notification intelligence app developed under the Scascan ecosystem. Privacy is a core design principle of NotiAI. This Privacy Policy explains what data NotiAI accesses, how that data is processed, and how your privacy is protected.
1. About NotiAI & Scascan
NotiAI is one of the tools provided under the Scascan platform (https://www.scascan.com).
NotiAI follows a privacy-first, zero-server philosophy:
- No cloud processing
- No external servers
- No third-party data sharing
NotiAI does not transmit any data to Scascan servers or to any third-party services.
2. Data Collection
No External Data Collection
NotiAI does not collect, store, sell, or transmit personal data to any external servers. The app operates entirely on your device.
Data Accessed Locally
To function correctly, NotiAI accesses the following locally on your device only:
- Notification content (notification title, text, timestamp, and app package name)
This access is required to analyze notifications in real time and provide user-visible features such as transaction detection and insights.
3. How Your Data Is Used
All processing happens locally on your device. NotiAI uses notification data to:
- Detect financial transaction alerts
- Identify debit or credit information
- Extract amounts, dates, and sources
- Categorize notifications (Bank, System, Promo, Info)
- Generate summaries and insights for your personal use
Important clarifications:
- Notification data is processed in real time
- Data is stored locally only when required for app features (logs, insights)
- Notification data is never used for advertising, tracking, profiling, or analytics
- No notification data ever leaves your device
4. AI & Machine Learning
NotiAI uses:
- Rule-based intelligence (heuristics and pattern matching)
- Optional on-device machine learning models (TensorFlow Lite)
Important AI Clarifications:
- AI models are pre-trained outside the device
- The app does not train AI models on your data
- The app does not upload data for AI training
- AI models are bundled only with app updates
- All AI inference runs fully offline on your phone
5. Data Storage & User Control
All data is stored locally on your device, including:
- Notification logs
- Parsed transaction summaries
- AI-generated insights
You are always in control of your data. NotiAI provides:
- A Clear All Data option
- Immediate and permanent deletion of all locally stored information
Once cleared, the data cannot be recovered.
6. Permissions
NotiAI requests only the minimum permissions required for its core functionality.

- Notification Access: Used to read notifications in real time and generate insights.
Permissions NOT Requested
NotiAI does NOT request access to:
- Internet
- Contacts
- Location
- Camera
- Microphone
- Media or file storage
7. Third-Party Services
NotiAI does not use:
- Analytics SDKs
- Advertising SDKs
- Cloud APIs
- Third-party data processors
- Trackers of any kind
There are no hidden services running in the background.
8. Data Sharing & Selling
NotiAI does not:
- Sell user data
- Share user data
- Rent user data
- Transfer user data to third parties
All data remains private and local to your device.

NotiAI does not knowingly collect personal data from children. Because:
